Himmah

In Nottingham, Himmah is preparing to launch a campaign calling for concessionary bus fares, responding to the disproportionate impact of rising transport costs on communities of colour and aligns with Himmah’s longer-term vision to build an endowment that supports the sustainability of Black and Brown civil society.

The Race Network

We are building a ‘Race Network’ across Nottingham to grow sustained power among Black and Brown communities. By strengthening relationships, deepening leadership capacity, and organising strategic campaigns—starting with the community asset transfer of public buildings to Black-led organisations—we aim to shift power and challenge systemic inequalities.
